Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt said Sunday on MSNBC that being against Zionism is not only “anti-Semitic” but “genocide” because “every Jewish person is a Zionist.”

“Anti-Zionism I’ve long said is anti-Semitism — I was wrong, anti-Zionism is genocide,” Greenblatt declared.

“Every Jewish person is a Zionist,” he insisted, regardless of whether they’re a religious Jew or an atheist.

Greenblatt defined anti-Zionism as anyone who is opposed to “the whole notion that Jewish people have a right to live in their ancestral homeland.”

Greenblatt has said in the past that treating Jews as a monolith is anti-Semitic but now he’s claiming it’s anti-Semitic not to treat them as such.

In the full interview, Greenblatt went on to say it would be “wrong for me or anyone else to hold all Palestinian people responsible for Hamas” and “it is wrong to hold any people collectively responsible” but he has had nothing to say about Israel’s top officials dehumanizing all Palestinians as “human animals” and declaring that their “entire nation” is collectively responsible for the actions of a fraction of Hamas militants.

The rhetoric coming out of Israel is incredibly extreme but rather than condemn it, Greenblatt is supporting the collective punishment of all Gazans and running cover for the Israeli government while they embark on a program of ethnic cleansing and genocide.

Greenblatt last week held all pro-Palestine protesters collectively responsible for the actions of Hamas, claiming that pro-Palestine protesters in NYC were “accomplices” in Hamas’ attacks.

He repeated a similar line during his MSNBC interview above, claiming that pro-Palestine protesters — “these people” as he called them — are “marching in support of a group that decapitated babies.”

The claim that Hamas decapitated 40 babies is a debunked hoax put out by Netanyahu’s office which even the White House ran away from but Greenblatt is still using it for atrocity propaganda to generate support for Israel’s genocide of what he called Palestinian “barbarians.”

Greenblatt is using all the “dehumanizing” tactics he claims to be against to support the Israeli government’s ethnic cleansing of Gaza.

Greenblatt claims “dual loyalty” is an “anti-Semitic canard” but then says “every Jewish person is a Zionist.”

Greenblatt condemns ethno-nationalism and “white supremacy” in America and Europe but then advocates for ethno-nationalism and Jewish supremacy in Israel.

If Greenblatt actually believed any of the claptrap he spews about fighting “hate” and “dehumanization” of groups, he would be screaming from the rooftops denouncing Israel’s Jewish supremacist rhetoric and the ethnic cleansing of Gaza but instead he’s running cover for Israel and using similar rhetoric himself to demonize all Palestinians and their supporters.

No wonder Ben Shapiro is now hailing Greenblatt as his hero!
