Bless You! To this day, I stiil cannot read Exodus/Genesis without the words getting dark on me and the room spinning. The old testament is a war manual. Two separate books with different meanings. One serves the self worshipping narcisissts and the other serves Humanity. However, so-called christians will hiss at anyone that dares to say differently. Well, lasilencia, I read Old Testament with similar feelings. But, I cannot imagine that all instructions in the Bible, given to the Chosen People for committing crimes, could be indeed given by God.
My view is that probably a group of jews who, over 2000 years ago, wrote these passages as told to them by God Himself, actually, FALSIFIED His words. They wrote that God made them a Chosen People who are permitted to commit crimes! Those are simply not the words that me, you and billions of other people, religious or not, would believe to be spoken by God.
We should not hesitate here: even today we are seeing blatant falsifications of the Bible: for example, feminists issued their “bible” where God is a female. If rogues are “justifying” their crimes and hatred now, the same could have been done before.
Surely, such falsification should have served for all this time as a most powerful “justification” for jewish criminals, and it is a defining and specific feature of jewish criminality. I don’t think there was ever an attempt to repel these terrible passages by either the jews or Christians.
It remains a serious task for the Bible scholars to make a thorough analysis of both Old and New Testaments. In particular, the words of Christ that He did not come to destroy the Law, but to uphold the Law, can mean also that He actually new that the Law of God was falsified by ancient jews. If so, this could explain further why jews FEARED, not only hated, Christ. Did they fear that Christ can reveal the falsification? Again, all such questions are up to the Bible scholars to answer, but my feeling is that there are portions of the New Testament where Jesus pointed to some “True Law” that was contrary to what jews were preaching at the time. The explanation can be very simple…

The question was asked of the rabbi whether wine stolen in Pumbeditha might be used or if it was defiled, due to the fact that the thieves might have been gentiles (a gentile touching wine would make the wine unclean). The world is just a hologram of a test. In a world where people would do ANYTHING to ace a test, or get a degree or promotion or profit or distinction ….. one would think that people would have the smarts to realize just how hard one needs to strive/ exert to ace this one-time test called life, esp. if ETERNITY depended on it!
