Dante, I’m aware of how brutal the Czechs were at the end of the war. Two years ago a video of a brutal atrocity they committed came out and I’m aware that 3 million Germans were brutally expelled from their homes and had everything they owned stolen by the Czechs, but I also have a feeling many Czechs were friends of and loyal to Germany and I was never aware of this until I met a Czech woman (with a German grandparent), I met a German who saw the Czechs attitudes change overnight in 1945 and then I saw this video. The Czechs never even voted to leave Austria in 1919. It was forced on them. I think everyone knew that if you didn’t want to get in trouble or possibly killed when the war ended, you weren’t friends with Germans – they were your enemies.
