US president confirms he likes ‘concept’ of relocating mission from Tel Aviv, promises decision in near future after ‘matter is studied’

ed note–again, knowing ahead of time that it will go absolutely nowhere, nevertheless for the sake of consistency and intellectual fairness, we’ll challenge the ‘Trump is owned by the Jews’ brigade to kindly explain the obvious disparity between what they claim and what the evidence suggests, but we won’t hold our breath waiting for an answer, since up to this point there have been none, other than to just repeat, repeat, and repeat again ad nauseum the issues surrounding Trump’s daughter having ‘converted’ to Judaism and having married a ‘nice Jewish boy’ named Kushner.

US President Donald Trump continued to back off his campaign pledge to relocate the American embassy to Jerusalem in an interview aired Monday, saying the move was “not easy” and giving it no more than “a chance” of occurring.

Trump’s repeatedly promised to move the embassy from Tel Aviv while on the campaign trail, but since taking the White House his administration has downplayed the chances of the relocation taking place.

While not committing to follow through on his pledge, the president didn’t rule it out, but recognized complicating factors that have made him think twice before initiating a policy a number of his predecessors deemed too explosive, including that there are “two sides” to the conflict.

Asked if he was “committed” to moving the embassy to Jerusalem, Trump said: “Well, I’m looking at it… We’re studying it very, very long and hard. You know it’s a very big decision, because every president for the last number of presidents, large number, they’ve come in and said they were going to do it and then all of a sudden they decide they don’t want to get involved. It’s a big big decision…”

“I’ve always liked the concept of doing it,” he told the Christian Broadcasting Network. “I will tell you that. I’ll have a decision in the not too distant future.”

Asked if the chances were good, he replied: “Well, there’s certainly a chance of it, absolutely. But we’re doing very detailed studies on that and we’ll come out very soon. I hate to do that because that’s not usually me: studies. It’s usually, I do what’s right. But this has two sides to it. Not easy.”

White House press secretary Sean Spicer said later Monday that US Vice President Mike Spence discussed the embassy issue with Jordan’s visiting King Abdullah and “welcomes the king’s views.” Pence “reiterated that the US is at the early stages of the decision making process.”

Earlier this month, the Jordanian government warned of “catastrophic” repercussions if Trump moved the embassy.

The CBN interview took place on Friday, two days before Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rebuffed claims from a senior Republican activist in Israel that Jerusalem was holding up the move.

“The position of Israel has been, and always will be, that the US Embassy should be here, in Jerusalem,” Netanyahu said at his cabinet meeting on Sunday. “It’s appropriate that all the other embassies should move to Jerusalem as well.”

On Thursday, Trump told Sean Hannity last week it was “too early” to discuss the move, but he told the CBN that it was being studied.

“There’s certainly a chance of it, absolutely,” he said. “But we’re doing very detailed studies on that and we’ll come out very soon. I hate to do that, because that’s not usually me — studies. It’s usually I do what’s right. But this has two sides to it, it’s not easy, and I’ll make a decision over the not-too-distant future.”

Calling the decision “big” several times, Trump noted that other presidents had also made the pledge while on the campaign trail and failed to follow through.

In 1995, Congress adopted a resolution, led by former House speaker and current Trump confidant Newt Gingrich, that called on the president to move the embassy. But each commander in chief since then has repeatedly used his prerogative to delay implementation of that demand.

The current waiver expires in May 2017, when Trump will have the opportunity to allow the relocation or further deny the move.

Each president since the Oslo process, including Barack Obama, has maintained that the future status of Jerusalem should be settled in final negotiations between the parties, as both Israelis and Palestinians claim the holy city as their rightful capital.

But since his stunning election victory, Trump has sent multiple signals that he intends to upend the policy that has been a staple of both Democrat and Republican administrations for decades.

In December, he nominated longtime friend and attorney David Friedman to be the next US ambassador to Israel. In the announcement, Friedman, a vocal supporter and donor to West Bank settlements, said he expected to carry out his duties in “Israel’s eternal capital, Jerusalem.”

In his final press conference as president, Obama warned his successor against instituting his plan without sufficiently considering the potential repercussions.

“The actions we take have enormous consequences and ramifications,” he said when asked about Trump’s stated goal of recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s sovereign capital. “We’re the biggest kid on the block.”

“If you’re going to make big shifts in policy, just make sure you’ve thought it through and understand that there are going to be consequences,” he added.

Palestinians and other Arab and Western leaders have also warned Trump against the move, predicting that it could have diplomatic repercussions as well as lead to possible violence.

  1. I’m quite surprised TUT has fallen for this false hope Trump.
You cannot get anywhere near the Presidency without being a Zionist.
The NWO have played their trump card.
How can you be so naive.
ed note–you’re ‘new’ here, so we’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, provided you can answer one simple question–
If indeed, Trump is a ‘Zionist/NWO type’, why all the noise and hysteria against him now for the past year on the part of the Zionist NWO? Why have they not rolled out the red carpet for him, as they do for all their ‘chosen puppets’? Why are they causing as much trouble for him as possible and trying to undermine him before he has even finished his first month as POTUS?
Experience has been the best teacher on this matter and therefore I/we don’t expect to get a cogent, rational answer out of you, but perhaps it is something you need to think about in your spare time before using words such as ‘naive’ as you did in you comment.

  2. You make a great point regarding the hostility of the mainstream media towards Trump. This can not really be denied. That said I think you are missing and overlooking some important factors in your analysis. Trump’s connections to hard right Zionism go far beyond his daughter converting to Judaism and his “nice Jewish boy” son in law. Trump (and his father before him) have had a long standing relationship with the New York financial and organized crime elites, including Meyer Lansky and also his mentor Roy Cohn, whom the late great Michael Collins Piper documented was on the board of Permindex, the Israeli company which likely played a key role in the assassination of Kennedy. Beyond that both Trump and others in his close inner circle have direct connections to some of the people who oversaw the business transactions which led to the privatization of the towers just prior to 911. Trump’s deputy campaign manager, Michael Glassner, in addition to serving as the southwest director if AIPAC, was chief of staff to Louis Eisenberg when Eisenberg oversaw the New York Port Authority. I’m sure you are well aware of Eisenberg and the ramifications of his actions with regards to the events of 911. Eisenberg himself was the finance chair of Trump’s inaugural committee. So there are more than just a couple of Zionist connections which are repeated ad nauseum. Another important factor that I believe is overlooked is Trump’s relationship with Israel via Breitbart. Trump’s chief strategist is Steve Bannon who headed a media outlet which brags about being conceived in Israel and is more hawkish than most media outlets when it comes to Israel. With the rise of the Internet Breitbart along with Drudge Report and Infowars (Alex Jones has gone full blown Zionist shill since the election) are now mainstream media and just as influential as CBS or the New York Times. My theory is that there is a need to play off of the frustration and anger of White Conservative America but to do it in a way that does not steer away from the basic goals of the phony “war on terror.” Enter Donald Trump. With the rise of the Internet and these new mainstream outlets which can pass themselves off as “alternative” the possibility now exists for traditional outlets to constantly vilify Trump and his base while at the same time legitimizing him as well as the new rising media that is presented as hostile and as a threat to the established agenda. Msm could have easily ignored Trump’s campaign but instead decided to give him nonstop coverage even before he announced he was running, and also stayed away from the scandals that really could have damaged him, including his connections to Jeffrey Epstein and his relationship to key 911 perpetrators. Steve Bannon by running a media outlet which regularly promotes “populist” and white nationalist viewppints has effectively learmed how to speak to that crowd (many of whom are understanding of the Jewish question) and it is my belief that Bannon and perhaps Kushner were responsible for both the omission of Jews from the Holocaust Remembrance statement as well as the controversial campaign ad which featured Soros and Blankfein. I believe that those were done to try and present Trump as someone who would take action to rein those entities in. As for people like Bill Kristol I haven’t quite figured out their reasoning for constantly bashing Trump. What I do know is that both the Israeli government is very optimistic about Trump as is Fox News. I don’t know for sure what is going on but all of these reasons combined with the very worrisome rhetoric against Iran make me not trust this administration or Donald Trump in general. I think you are wrong to assert that focusing on the troublesome people around Trump is irrelevant, that there are only a few things that people constantly focus on to try and prove that Trump is controlled, and that anyone who tries to make an argument in favor of Trump being an Israeli asset is ignorant and/or wasting their time. I do not believe that there is overwhelming evidence which points to Trump being an uncontrollable threat, but that a hard look at everything going on points to the opposite. This is just my opinion and I don’t claim to know for sure. The majority of alternative and anti Zionist opinion seems to be supportive of Trump so I don’t know where the belief comes from of all of this hostility to Trump exists within alternative circles. Views like mine are very rare and get hardly any if any at all attention even within the alternative media. I believe that it is much better to acknowledge the potential dangers with Trump based on all that is going on and a careful evaluation of the people around him rather then ignoring those connections and taking a condescending and belittling tone toward those who have, based on careful and extensive evaluation and research, come to the conclusion that Trump is not all that he has been presented to be and may turn out to be exactly what the Likud wants.
ed note–everything you said may be true, but you are forgetting to plug into your analysis a few factors–
    1. Gangsters turn on each other when their interests no longer converge, and
    2. We are witnessing a play-by-play replay of what took place between the Kennedys and the Jews. Kennedy’s family went way back with Jewish org crime and he said/did whatever was necessary to placate them when running for the presidency, but then after winning, obviously–as roven by Mike Piper’s book Final Judgment–began moving against them.
The ‘gangster’ Trump and the gangsters of Likud now have diverging interests and Trump is out to save America from complete destruction, and if that means he has to play the role of the Judeophile in front of the cameras and mics in order to lay down the law later, then that’s what he’ll do.
You might want to have a look at this late breaking story appearing on the Jerusalem Post for further reference to what I am saying here.
