Retired Marine Corps general James Mattis, seen as front-runner for defense secretary post, also insisted the US pays a price in Middle East for its support of Israel
ed note–but, but, but…Trump has talked about appointing John Bolton as Sec of State. He has been schmoozing it up with Giuliani as of late…His daughter converted to Judaism and is married to Jared Kushner…He’s said nice things about Israel and has made all sorts of NOISES about moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem…All of this PROVES that he was a fraud all along and that America has been Neo-conned again…
But wait, now Trump is talking about making Matis Sec of Def, a man who has stated the truth concerning Israel as an apartheid state, and who has rightly asserted that the US is paying a heavy price for its support of the entire Judaic venture in the Middle East?
INCONCEIVABLE.
Again folks, please, don’t jump so easily. Trump’s strategy from the beginning has been to keep people guessing, which is why he has been schmoozing it up with creatures like Bolton and Giuliani. As we have said here, over, and over, and over again, there is a big difference between saying x, y, and z and DOING x, y, and z.
Trevor, I am blocked again on Facebook!

the government supports israel ,the jews kill arabs and the hate goes on!!!
Three facts the “American” media and “American” government do not want the American people to know: 1) America’s radically pro-Israel policies have gotten hundreds of Americans killed since the 1960 — Booby Kennedy, for example. 2) Israel is anything but a genuine democracy. It is a tyranny of the (Jewish) majority state. 3) Israel is no real friend of the American people. The long history of treachery against America begins with the Lavon Affair and goes on to Mossad foreknowledge of 9/11, which was not shared with American intelligence.
Love the commentary. Opinions aplenty. I’m just waiting for the inauguration, as actions speak louder than words. We have been bamboozled by creatures so many times over the past few decades that a little skepticism is to be expected.
Reality check.
None of this matters much right now. All we can do at this point is sit back and watch Trump deliver or not deliver on his promises. We are sitting in the theatre, drinks in hand, truly mere observers with a lot to discuss. That is all, discuss.
I am quite content regarding Trump to just watch for now. What else can we do? I mean, waste more energy on postulating? I am not hoping he will fail, heck I have taken a lot of flack for my support of him so it is all about my ego right now. (Snorts) But I am still a tad apprehensive after all the things we know have and can go wrong on all levels.
The man is a sledgehammer and he will do what he will do. He was not elected to pussyfoot (I could not resist, sorry) around things. There will be damage, the lion-headed bull is in the china shop. But Trump also knows that every goddam item including the shelving and walls are potentially explosive grenades and he seems to be doing fairly well so far.
The only thing we can do is remember how biased and powerful his enemies are. We seen to share many of those in common with Trump. Regarding our mutual foes, fighting for common sense is a major issue in this mad overly-liberalized society. We are far from common sense
Call me cheap and shallow, but I have slept MUCH better and felt more secure in the world, since he took the election and Putin extended a welcome congratulations. I cannot even begin to express how that made me feel after the past while. Yeah, it’s all about me.
Good post; thanks. I have no optimism regarding the short-, medium- or long-term prospects for justice and peace for the brave people of Palestine.
We are paying a huge price by supporting Israel. How is stating this fact a ‘hate crime’?
