A leading British think-tank has defended its decision to invite a far-right party founder to speak at an event in London this week.
Ukrainian politician Andriy Parubiy, who set up a political party that attracted neo-Nazi sympathisers, was set to attend a public briefing at the Royal United Services Institute (Rusi) this Friday. He was set to discuss Ukraine’s attempts to counter separatist and Russian attacks.
Mr Parubiy sparked controversy after he co-founded the far-right Socio-National Party of Ukrainein 1991, which was later renamed Svoboda. The party, which described itself as an “enemy of communism”, was modelled on Hitler’s fascist ideology and restricted membership to ethnic Ukrainians.
Mr Parubiy went onto head up the National Security and Defence Council. He is currently the First Deputy Speaker at the Ukrainian parliament.
But a spokesman for Rusi, a leading defence and security research group, which did not reference Mr Parubiy’s ties to the far-right group in the event’s description, said: “The situation in Ukraine is a key concern for UK security, and Mr Parubiy has been an important participant in recent transitions there. Before arranging for Mr Parubiy to speak at the Institute, Rusi has considered both the speaker’s past and his current political activities and has decided that none fail the stringent qualifying tests applied by the Institute.
“The details posted in Rusi publicity about the speaker’s personal biography are not meant to be exhaustive, and are most certainly not meant to pass judgment on the speaker’s character and activities. Nor does an invitation to speak at the Institute entail an endorsement of the speaker as such, or of his political views. Rusi has received no representation from its members either objecting or endorsing the invitation to Mr Parubiy.”
He added: “Rusi is devoted to the promotion of an open, unhindered debate on all relevant international matters, as they affect the security and well-being of the United Kingdom and its allies. While the Institute will refuse a platform to people who openly advocate violence or any other actions which are deemed illegal under either domestic or international law, in the spirit of a free debate Rusi often hosts people and organisations whose views some may find objectionable.”
A Board of Deputies spokesman said: “Although Mr Parubiy will not be speaking on behalf of Svoboda, we do hope that those present will hold him to account for his past involvement in some of the ugliest fascist movements in the Ukraine.”

I think you’re correct in distinguishing between National Socialists from the 30’s and 40’s who more and more appear to be the real “good guys” of WW II from the trash that have claimed to be their heirs after WW II, but as much as I think Ukrainian nationalists have made a mistake in their anti-Russian policies, in eastern Europe (not just Ukraine, Latvia, Estonia and elsewhere too) there are still negative feelings towards Russians due to Soviet policies. I think Jews don’t get the “credit” they deserve for being the leading mass murderers in the Soviet Union and I think many east Europeans know the role they played, but maybe not enough. Still, I think Ukrainian nationalists (although I think they’re a small minority) should have their say. What I don’t understand is why they don’t speak out against the Jews more, the mass murderers that carried out the Holodomor and their grandsons that incredibly run Ukraine again now.

The reason why this Ukrainian has been invited to the UK is because his party fronts as ” Nationalists”, for the Jews who really run the Ukraine.
True National Socialism is the most satisfying ,and liberating belief possible.
It stands for all things natural, and the Hellenistic ideals, of beauty, and progress.
National community, and sovereignty of ALL respective peoples.
It is NOT ” Right Wing”, or ” Left Wing”, the matrix , creations of the Jews to corral ,and manipulate society.
What ” Right Wing” ” Nazis” are ? Crazies created by the Jews themselves, to keep the truth, about real NS getting out.
They have done nothing to free the world from the International Jews,and never will.

The NSDAP saw very clearly that Organized Usury and its mainly Jewish sayanim were extremely effective in corrupting German people and the whole society. In essence, The NSDAP policy towards Jews was essentially: ‘You must leave Germany. You have proven yourselves to be untrustworthy and determined to influence German people in ways which are actually harmful to the well-being of Germany. You must leave Germany!’
That the NSDAP changed the life of ordinary Germans for the better, amazingly quickly, is beyond doubt. If only the ordinary people of France had been able to ally themselves with NSDAP Germany, the example provided by the NSDAP of governing to serve the common good could have survived and spread – not as world domination, but as national self-determination.
The sad fact is that Organized Usury was able to mobilize the ordinary people of France, UK and its British Empire, USSR, and the USA against Germany and its allies – and the end result was inevitable, the utter destruction of the good example.
Any nation which allows hostile aliens to control its mainstream media will become a slave to the hostile aliens. Is that not as clear as day?
Is that not a common interest for the ordinary people of all ethnic groups within America – and the world?
