The UAE has long track record helping US communities in need after natural disasters. UAE gifts and volunteer projects helped communities recover after Hurricane Katrina (2005) and Hurricane Sandy (2012). In addition, the UAE helped Joplin, Missouri rebuild in 2011 after one of the largest tornados ever recorded in the US devastated the community. CONTINUE READING

    don’t be so harsh on them, Mark, the weather is nice and sunny in gaza, iraq and Syria.
    And what about all those generous CARE packages, made in the US and Israel that they keep dropping on Yemen?

    i’d say the donation is another nail in the coffin of Palestine and Arab brotherhood. If only the shoe were on the other foot ~ this is not good for the region… as it will continue to instigate and further hostilities among the Muslim people imo.

  3. Sad to say but it is allllllll politics. And those politics do not extend to Gaza, Iraq, Syria. At least not these type of donations. The Saudis care less about their neighbours other than Israel.
