DESERT PEACE – The honorary guest at the opening ceremony of British graffiti artist Banksy’s new hotel in Bethlehem was none other than Elton John. The famous singer recorded a special message that was played for the guests who attended the opening ceremony. “I would’ve loved to have been with you all tonight but you know, there wasn’t any room at the inn,” John said. The popular British singer also made a political statement: “It’s my great pleasure to be playing in Palestine this evening. Please know that you are not alone. You are not forgotten.”

  1. Figuratively speaking, I am holding my breath in (bad) anticipation of how the jooz are going to try and slander and smear Elton John for doing this.

  2. Elton John ignored calls from the BDS Movement to not play Israel last year. The Times of Israel posted a headline that “Elton John semi-dedicates “Your Song” to Israel,” then goes on to say the performance was “rapturously received” on this, his 4th visit.
Isn’t that nice of him to ignore Israel’s violent and demonic treatment of the Palestinian people for more than fifty years, obviously for a generous bag of shekels, while making moronic and despicable comments such as “You are not alone” when he visits the Palestinians.
Elton John clearly feels that “normalization” of the apartheid, racist policies of The Jewish State are fine and dandy. His own behavior in ignoring BDS demonstrates that, as far as he is concerned, the Palestinians are in fact alone.
Why would anyone listen to his music after understanding the man?

  3. & I will never waste my time listening to Elton John again, I prefer listening to Dorsey R. Gardner & the BDS & TUT today !

  4. This deviant has played in Israel and is a huge fan. Just his lifestyle alone stole from me any ability to tolerate his sounds. Even the first stuff which I enjoyed at the time. He became Anathema with his lifestyle promotion and the things he stood for. His acknowledgement of Palestine is nice n all but, to be honest, means almost nothing.

  5. Why is it that my comments are never published?

ed note–our apologies. there is a built in spam filter on WP sites that oftentimes grabs comments that are not spam at all and tosses them. I try to make it a point to go through all the spam comments but sometimes there are as many as 6-700 and I don’t have time to sort through them all.
