SOTT – After the Helsinki Summit, and standing beside Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump said the following words loud and clear for all the world: “I would rather take a political risk in pursuit of peace than to risk peace in pursuit of politics.” And that he did. The fall-out has been enormous among the ‘elite class’ – from calls for military coups to denunciations of treason.
In fact, here is former CIA Director John Brennan on the Helsinki summit: “Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes & misdemeanors.’ It was nothing short of treasonous.” Most Democrats agreed. CONTINUE READING
