🙁 Lasilencia, Always wanted to eventually retire, if I lived that long in Damascus……the smell Yasmin/jasmine fills the air and has some of the nicest people, there is baraka/blessings in the air…….the land of Prophets.
I pray Allah may grant your dream come true. It sounds inviting. I have always found the Arab culture very vibrant. Many Arabs settled in the Caribbean centuries ago and traded with the Natives. We get our guitar flavor from the Persians. Our cultures share so much. 🙂

Before the US/UK wanted gadhafi destroyed he looked after his people . Medical help was free -housing provided -young married couples given $ 1000,s and so on and no boats being sunk trying to leave North Africa . More fool this great man to have weakened himself to please his enemies. What Libya is today was always their goal. As with Iraq, the Libyan mission successfully accomplished. Israel and the Saudis were pleased to smithereens about this.
Because Iraq, too, was once as beautiful and vibrant. Old videos of that country showed a vibrant people living in cities of wide boulevards and much street life. Not to mention high educational standards. (Sorta like Afghanistan before…. but I digress.)
One other thing Muammar did for the people. Every year, every citizen, received a sizable cheque with a share of the revenues from the sale of Libyan oil. People criticized him for so many things, including taking too good care of the people! This care apparently robbed them of their independence to live freely…..

Yes nooralhaqiqa The jew lives only to make a profit from non-jews that is why the Jew run IMF/World Banksters want Every country on this planet in DEBT to Israel when it sees a wisely run country like Libya where the ruler is a generous benefactor to his people they will not allow that to stand . Just look at the western countries all in debt to Jews all paying off trillions of $$$$$ the citizens are taxed hard and their welfare benefits reduced to pay for the loans but not the rich they have tax exemptions and become even richer. Think of a world with no jews and you will think of a world a lot more peaceful and kind a jew always wants something in return for any outlay be it profit or an arm or leg or even blood.
