Interesting that my comment here from yesterday must have been lost in virtual space….
What I brought up was the case of the two gay men (1 Aussie, 1 American) who abused the Russian boy baby they adopted. This case of “model gay parenting” went awry and international in scope and was one reason for Putin putting a ban against homosexuals and international adoption. Sochi was scheduled awhile later and all hell broke loose… but that particular case was part of his inspiration in curtailing public homosexual activities as well….
