ed note–MJ, I agree completely just how bad all of this looks. And personally, if I had a magic wand I could wave and have things turn out the way I’d like, Trump would not be forced to crawl into the same swamp he promised to drain and associate with the dregs who occupy that swamp.
Political reality however is another matter, and the way that I see it is thus–There is this piece of machinery out there, a battleship if you will, that he has been elected to commandeer. That ship requires all sorts of associated persons and their expertise in keeping it running–engineers, mechanics, machinists, navigators, stewards, cooks, etc, and Trump has to take what he can get. Personally, I’d love it if reality were this place/situation where he could associate himself with the best of the best in the world, but he simply can’t.
And just for the record, I don’t believe the ship can be saved as it is a case of a day late and a dollar short. We are too far gone, the cancer is too far advanced and there is no amount of radiation or chemo that can save us.
