Ed-note (Sabba) – A few days, ago, it was some Bosnian soccer fans in Vienna, Austria, who got world jewry shaken as they waived the Palestinian flag and allegedly chanted ‘Palestine will be free’ and ‘Kill the jews’. And now it is the Dutch chanting “Hamas, Hamas, Jews to the Gas” and “Horrible Cancer Jews.” and “We are going to chase Jews.” This article is making it look less than what it really is. Had these soccer fans called on ‘Hezbollah’ instead of ‘Hamas’, the tone would have been much more different…
Is this something we can just shake off or could we possibly be witnessing an awakening where we least expected it, i.e. among football fans?
This story reminds me of hooded “anarchists” performing for television cameras by trashing a Macdonald’s store. Looks like the Dutch government and FIFA will have to take extreme measures to counteract “anti-semitic” “terrorists”.

Unlike the rest of the U.K nationalists movements like EDL, Britain First and to a lesser extent the BNP, N/F have remained resolutely and indefatigably anti-Semitic as a default position. Though derided for being unsophisticated and violent, N/F have tenaciously remained true to European nationalist principles by rejecting Jewry in all its manifestations.

Being dutch myself I can assure you that there really isn’t any mainstream antisemitism in dutch football culture. throughout history Amsterdam has always been a safe heaven for Jews in Europe and the supporters of ‘Ajax’ still identify with their Jewish history and support Israel because it’s a cultural thing to do at this point.
Obviously it gets blown out of proportions, these people wouldn’t even be able to point out Gaza on the map and are more likely to be supporters of Zionism than against it.

@konrad.. This is real.. But it’s old news (25 years?). Ajax FC is the most succesfull football club in Holland. And Feijenoord (Rotterdam) their no 1 rival. Ajax is from Amsterdam, the jew capital of Holland.. And as a provocation they call supporters from Amsterdam ‘jews’. And Ajax supporters call themselves ‘Superjews’.. It’s pure provocation.. Not political.. I like it anyways.. But at fc Utrecht last weekend they were singing: “My grandfather was a commando, my grandmother with the SS, together they burned jews, cause jews burn the best..” jew not like.. LOL!
And yes.. The Dutch love the jews..
