When my daughter was in high school, she, a relatively aware girl, was “converted” to Judaism by a forced trip to a hollowco$t exhibit at the local University. Suddenly “jew sensitivity” became an issue where before, they had never even been a topic of discussion! (I was not as aware then as I am now)
Fifteen years later and I am STILL dealing with charges of anti semitism when the truth would come out in our discussions! They are not angry discussions, but the damage was done….. The cognitive dissonance was established.
These goddam effing traveling displays DO have consequences on the minds of our young.
