There has never been any justice for the Japanese victims of the

You commit war crimes, and then you arrange for absurd show-trials in order to establish your “righteousness” and the victim’s “evil.” This was the whole point of the “Nuremberg Trials” and the “Tokyo Trials.”

Exactly. The Allies executed German submarine commanders for having targeted merchant ships, yet the Allies did the exact same thing. German U-boats were deemed sinister and evil, even though seventy percent of all Japanese ship tonnage was sunk by US submarines. Furthermore the Allies knowingly targeted German and Japanese hospital ships, such as the Tübingen (18 Nov 1944). On 30 Jan 1945 at the end of the war, the Soviets sank the MV Wilhelm Gustloff, a hospital ship that was evacuating German civilians from Gdynia (Gotenhafen). The Soviets murdered 9,400 people, making this the largest loss of life from a single ship sinking in history. On 19 Feb 1945 the Soviets sunk the SS General von Steuben, a German passenger ship, murdering 4,000. On 17 April 1945, just a few days before the end of the war, the Soviets sank another German hospital ship, the MV Goya, murdering 7,200.

Yes, it was a war crime. The United States is the only country to have used nuclear weapons of mass destruction on a civilian population. It’s amazing how many people still believe the lie that dropping the bombs was necessary and saved millions of lives. It was a message to the world that we had these weapons and we weren’t afraid to use them.
