Assad: Why talk to Trump if he doesn’t control the US?

This message is for Putin: I was your avid supporter and so were many others in the West, until recently due to your coddling of Netanyahu and your total lack of any response to Israel’s attack on Syria. You promised to stand by Syria if attacked by Israel but obvious this was an empty promise. Syria has done nothing to provoke Israel yet Israel continues to bombs and kill Syrian civilian’s. Putin, please keep you promise and protect Syria from any further Israeli aggression.

That should be Israels “attacks” (plural) as there have been hundreds.

Russia is neither supplying S-300 surface-to-air missile systems to Syria, nor negotiating a potential delivery to Damascus, Vladimir Kozhin, presidential aide for military technical cooperation, told Russian media, adding that the Syrian forces had “everything they needed.”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to comment Mr. Kozhin’s remarks, stressing that it would be wrong to connect those statements with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Moscow.
Unless they are covertly going to supply – which i doubt – or they are speaking in some code i cannot decipher, i like you am disappointed.
