Ed note–ugly as such a statement may seem, nevertheless the truth of the matter is that this ‘code of silence’ is not something relegated merely to sexual abuse, but to all criminal activity taking within the Jewish community, which is why great care and skepticism must be applied whenever someone from within ‘la famiglia’ comes forth and renders any kind of commentary that appears (and we stress that word APPEARS) to be critical of Judaic excesses.
