I was never a math genius but if you multiply 9*42, you get 378. Now multiply 378*1 000 000 and you get 378 000 000 (gallons of oil per day).
0.13*378 000 000 = 49 140 000
13% of 378M is about 49.1M barrels per day (in 2014 figures).
If we interpolate the 2014 figures to 2016, the US uses about 49.1M barrels of oil from Saudi Arabia every day.
