Amiram Levin backs NGO that publishes alleged abuses by soldiers, says army should encourage such groups to speak out
ed note–People may remember many, many moons ago the infamous case of the Menendez brothers, Lyle and Erik, aged 21 and 18 respectively, who were convicted of murdering their wealthy parents by blowing them away with a shotgun. During the case, one of the brothers–can’t remember which right now–acting under the advice of his lawyer of the non-Gentile persuasion known as Leslie Abramson (who during the trial cajoled the psychiatrist of one of the boys to delete and rewrite passages of his notes that would be presented as evidence so as to favor their acquittal) broke down on the witness stand in tears over the fact that he and his brother no longer had beloved mommy and daddy anymore and had been made orphans.
Fortunately, these tactics did not work and the two were convicted.
In another courtroom however, the same tactics are working marvelously, that courtroom of course being where the jury hears the case brought against Israel for her brutal crimes against the Palestinians. There are several tactics being used by the defense–One is to deny that the crimes ever took place, one is to say that they were done in self-defense, and the other is to pull a ‘Menendez’, which features an infamous murderer coming forth–either as an individual or as a group of them–and pouring their bleeding heart out in front of the jury, beating their breast penitently and saying ‘forgive me for my crimes’.
That is precisely what is taking place here. While I have no doubt that there are a few (FEW) cases where some glimmer of humanity exists within the hearts of those IDF thugs who have murdered innocent men, women, and children, and who now are so haunted by the memories of what they have done that they cannot live with themselves, in general however I believe that the entire operation is a sham meant to achieve the same thing that was attempted during the infamous Menendez trial.
The story appearing here features not some grunt groundpounder in the IDF who has had enough of it, but rather a GENERAL, who oversaw, orchestrated, and then covered up the murder of (who-knows how many?) innocent people and who now wants to make a show of his ‘coming to Jesus’ moment by supporting the group Breaking the Silence. By doing so, it gives the false impression that Judaism ‘has a heart and a conscience’, (when in fact it does not) that Israel is not a racist, violent enclave executing the various commandments of the Torah to murder innocent people (which in fact it is) and that there is a difference between Judaism and Zionism, when in fact there is not.
Just as saner elements in society did not buy it 20 years ago when the 2 brothers who murdered their parents broke down in tears over the fact that beloved mommy and daddy were not around anymore because of them being blasted to bits by a shotgun, likewise should saner elements not buy into this as well. Israel, Judaism, and the Jewish mindset is on trial here for the inherently criminal, violent creatures that they are, and that is how they need to be seen, not just for the benefit of the Palestinians, but indeed for all humanity. All the ‘expert witnesses’ being brought forth to plead the case for the defense are there for one reason, which is to seduce the mind of the Gentile world in such a way as to leave it divided and confused, and as we well know, the best script writers and actors are those of the non-Gentile persuasion.
Let the reader watch the video below of an infamous Dateline sting that nabbed a rabbi who was meeting with a 13 year old boy for sex. Once he was caught, it was ‘oh my God, this is bad…I’m in a lot of trouble here’. Then when the cameramen rolled out, he freaked out. That is Israel and her supporters right now, but instead of freaking out, thy are taking a more ‘nuanced’ approach to it by appealing to the gullibility and the forgiving nature of Gentiles.
A retired IDF major general on Friday took out an advert in the liberal Israeli daily Haaretz in support of “Breaking the Silence,” a controversial organization that collects testimony from Israeli veterans of alleged human rights abuses within the army.
Under the headline “I am also breaking my silence,” Amiram Levin used the half-page ad to both express his backing for the group and to malign those who seek to outlaw it.
“‘Breaking the Silence’ guards IDF soldiers in the impossible place in which politicians have abandoned them,” wrote Levin in his statement, adding that “the instructions to silence ‘Breaking the Silence’ harm and weaken the IDF.”
The retired soldier, whose posts included head of the IDF Northern Command, commander of the elite Sayeret Matkal unit and deputy director of Mossad, added: “The IDF must encourage ‘Breaking the Silence’ and those like them, to speak out without fear in the IDF and in Israeli society.”
Levin is not the only high-ranking former defense official to come out in support on the group. The former head of the Shin Bet security service, Yuval Diskin, this week wrote on Facebook that while he was opposed to the group’s activity outside of Israel, “they provide another, important mirror to our actions.”
“I don’t like their activity abroad and the fact that they are not satisfied with the control and justice system in the State of Israel. But they provide another, important mirror to our actions. Even if they can make us angry, even if they are sometimes inaccurate or not doing their jobs correctly – their contribution is very important,” Diskin wrote.
This week, Education Minister Naftali Bennett said he would ban the group from appearing in Israeli schools, while Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said on Sunday that he would prevent the organization from entering army grounds.
President Reuven Rivlin this week also came under pressure from a small television channel, the Heritage Channel, which censured him for attending Haaretz’s conference in New York at which members of “Breaking the Silence” also appeared.
Channel 20, which is state-owned, accused the president of “spitting in the faces of IDF soldiers.”
Rivlin’s own remarks at the conference appeared to counter the criticism of the IDF by “Breaking the Silence,” telling the audience at the left-wing event that, “No other army in the world is as moral as the IDF.”
“Once in a while the obvious should be said, especially in these days of dangerous terrorism. The IDF does everything in its power to keep the highest standards possible,” Rivlin said. “For that we are very proud, very proud of them. And really owe them all our support and appreciation.”

The pedophile rabbi, even caught in an undeniable position of having committed several offenses, including a federal one (mailing pornographic material) has the typical nerve of accusing Chris: “you come across as angry, verging on incensed”— oy, always the victim! I would like to know his whereabouts now and if his “community” is supporting him, as is also typical.
The world will simply buy into it as programmed to do with anything concerning these beasts. There is only one way to defeat this beast and its ammunition lies in plain site in the latin vulgate.
Perhaps some of the originals from Breaking the Silence were sincere but it seems as with everything else, it has been infiltrated and weaponized in favour of the Jewish State.
David A. Kaye, 56, told the judge that he traveled to Herndon for what he thought would be sex with a boy “as a cry out for help to fight my personal demons.” Sobbing as he acknowledged his father, who sat in the courtroom in a wheelchair, Kaye said his conviction had made him face “the reality of who I am. . . . I know I need help. I pray that God allows me to get that help.”
Nothing like a Jew in a wheelchair mercy prop. At least he didn’t invoke the hollowcost.
