  1. “Hagel was never really brought into that real tight circle inside the White House that makes all the decisions which has put us into the incredible debacle that we’re in today throughout the world.” ~ John McCain.
The White House does not make decisions. The US President is merely a salesman for decisions that are made by people far above his pay grade. It’s those people that Hagel did not fit in with.
“Undeniably, U.S. foreign policy is in a shambles.” ~ Patrick J. Buchanan
Nonsense. The oil is flowing, and the gap between the rich and the rest grows wider each day. Therefore U.S. foreign policy is proceeding quite nicely, thank you.
“Today the Islamic State, a barbaric offshoot of al-Qaida, controls Mosul, Anbar and the Sunni third of Iraq.” ~ Patrick J. Buchanan
Nonsense. Buchanan is repeating the “ISIS” and “Al Qaida” propaganda of the imperialists he purports to question.
“Kurdistan is breaking away. And a Shia government in Baghdad, closely tied to Tehran and backed by murderous anti-American Shia militias, controls the rest. Terrorism is a daily occurrence.” ~ Patrick J. Buchanan
Nonsense. The Shi’ite government in Baghdad is allied with (and supported by) the USA. Against Baghdad and the USA are the Sunnis, who have no oil, and are starving. The USA and Pat Buchanan call these Sunnis “ISIL.” In May 2006 the USA installed Nouri al-Maliki (a Shi’ite) as head of the Iraqi government. Al-Maliki oversaw the extermination of Sunnis, most of which were driven from Baghdad out into the desert. In 2011 al-Maliki said the US forces could not stay in Iraq. Therefore the USA decided to remove al-Maliki, but the USA was temporarily busy destroying Libya and waging a proxy war on Syria. On 8 Sep 2014 the USA removed al-Maliki as president, and replaced him with Ibrahim al-Jaafari (another Shi’ite) who was groomed and trained in the USA and Britain. Mr. al-Jaafari is even more obedient than al-Maliki was.
“The war lasted eight years for us, and now we are going back — to prevent a catastrophe.”
    ~ Patrick J. Buchanan
Nonsense. The only “catastrophe” in Iraq is for the Sunnis, who Buchanan calls the “Islamic State.” The US is only interested in two things. (1) Keeping the oil flowing from the Shi’ite south and the Kurdish north (2) protecting Israeli interests in the Kurdish north. An old pipeline runs from the Kirk oil fields in the north to Haifa, Israel. The Jews want to rebuild it, under US protection.
“A second decision came in 2011, when a rebellion arose against Bashar Assad in Syria, and we supported and aided the uprising. Assad must go, said Obama. McCain and the neocons agreed.” ~Patrick J. Buchanan
To so-called “rebellion” consisted of peaceful protests and demonstrations in rural areas against the neo-liberal policies of Bashar al-Assad (policies which the USA favored). The policies were starving rural people, and were widening the gap between the rich and the rest. Assad was allied with the USA and its “war on terror.” However Assad was also allied with Russia and Iran. Moreover the Jews have always despised Assad. Number One on the Israeli hate list is Hezbollah, since the Jews got stomped by Hezbollah twice. Number two is Syria and Assad. Far down on the Israeli hate list are Iran and Palestinians, who are convenient targets; nothing more. Therefore when peaceful protests began in the rural areas of Syria (e.gl. Deraa), the USA hijacked them, sent in mercenaries, and escalated it into a proxy war against Assad.
“Now ISIS and al-Qaida are dominant from Aleppo to the Iraqi border with Assad barely holding the rest, while the rebels we urged to rise and overthrow the regime are routed or in retreat.” ~ Patrick J. Buchanan
More nonsense. Buchanan is again parroting the imperialist propaganda he purports to condemn. There is no “ISIS,” just as there is no “Al Qaeda.” There are Sunni insurgents in Iraq, and Sunni mercenaries in Syria. Buchanan is also echoing the lie that the Sunni mercenaries in syria can be divided into “moderates” on one hand, and “Al-Qaida-ISIS” on the other.
Buchanan is like people who seek to condemn Jews by comparing Jews to Nazis. In so doing, they defend Jewish lies about WW II. Likewise, Buchanan seeks to condemn US imperialism, but he does it in ways that defend the lies of US imperialism.
“Had Assad fallen, had we bombed his army last year, as Obama, Kerry and McCain wanted to do, and brought down his regime, ISIS and al-Qaida might be in Damascus today. And America might be facing a decision either to invade or tolerate a terrorist regime in the heart of the Middle East.”
    ~ Patrick J. Buchanan
Nonsense. There is no “ISIS and Al Qaida.” Moreover, if the Syrian government falls, then Syria will remain in permanent chaos, just like Libya. This is part of the US plan. Not “regime change,” but regime prevention. Syria must be destroyed so that it can have no central government at all. Just like Libya. Why destroy one government and replace it with a puppet government when you can wipe out everything and grab the resources directly?
“The Turks, Saudis and Gulf Arabs who aided ISIS’ rise are having second thoughts, but sending no Saudi or Turkish troops to dislodge it.” ~ Patrick J. Buchanan
There is no “ISIS,” just as there is no “Al Qaida.” Moreover the Turks, Saudis and Gulf Arabs are having second thoughts about the USA. They believed the whole purpose of the proxy war in Syria (fought with mercenaries) was to get rid of Assad. But now the USA is protecting Syrian Kurds against the USA’s own mercenaries, because the Iraqi Kurds wish it. The Turks have no problem with Iraqi Kurds, but the Turks consider Syrian Kurds to be terrorists. So the Turks, Saudis, and Gulf Arabs are furious and frustrated. They are screaming to the USA, “What about the war on Assad?”
“Now (in Libya) we have on the south shore of the Mediterranean a huge failed state and strategic base camp for Islamists and terrorists who are spreading their poison into sub-Sahara Africa.” ~ Patrick J. Buchanan
Again Buchanan repeats the imperialist propaganda. The “Islamists” in sub-Saharan Africa are impoverished rural dwellers who are marginalized by their governments, which rule from the cities. When NATO destroyed Libya in 2011, the rural dwellers (e.g. Tuaregs) lost their livelihoods. So they retreated to their native lands (which neighbor Libya), and started agitating for more equality there. Buchanan calls these calls for equality “poison.” For example, Tuaregs from Libya retreated to neighboring Mali, and in Jan 2012 they started agitating for equality. They threatened the profits of foreign mining companies in sub-Saharan Africa. Therefore France invaded militarily to crush the starving “Islamists” and keep them impoverished and enslaved. Buchanan supports this savagery.
“The great triumphs of Reagan and Bush 41 were converting Russia into a partner, and presiding over the liberation of Eastern Europe and the dissolution of the old Soviet Union into 15 independent nations.” ~ Patrick J. Buchanan
Buchanan’s American arrogance is showing. No US President in Washington “presided over” anything, nor “won the cold War.” The USSR collapsed on its own.
Buchanan’s main message in this article is that imperialism causes problems for the USA. So what? All empires face problems. It’s part of being empires. There’s nothing new in that.

  2. Unfortunately, Buchanan can’t call a spade a spade; It’s the Jews, stupid! He also lends legitimacy to ISIS and al Qaeda instead of labeling them creations of MOSSAD/CIA and being used as their proxy army.

  3. I like Pat Buchanan. But sometimes he wobbles a bit. So I correct him.

    OFF TOPIC
Is it necessary to always mention the Jewish “holocaust”™? Is it some kind of genetic disorder? Is it like an involuntary seizure?
The Counterpunch article below purports to debunk the myths that average Americans use to define themselves in a positive (but false) manner.
“The reality is far removed from the fairytale version of a nation that views itself as a virtuous universal agent for good and progress.”
The author debunks a number of myths, while he upholds the myth of the Jewish “holocaust.”™

Is it necessary to ALWAYS mention the “holocaust”™?
For Jews, yes, but what about for everyone else?

  4. I’m totally holocaust out. I have that counterpunch article on the side to read a bit later. The seizures people need to be having is exposing these jewish lies. 🙂

  5. Chuck Hagel has been the best head of any cabinet for decades.
Pat strokes Senator McCain, but McCain is a one reason why the U.S. foreign policy is in shambles. Buchanan could have made the point that Chuck is good for America without mentioning the traitor by name.

  6. Thank you to all the great posters, and what a blessing Konrad is ! This man,is a treasure: Take head of him-he is true LIBERATION,from the LEFT/RIGHT Jew Matrix, and that is REAL NS.Buchanan is a man I admire for the enemies he has made..,but he sadly trys to stay relevant,by keeping one foot in the ‘Establishment’,and is either in denial,or fantasizing that quoting Mc Cane,or giving’fair insight’,will put his views at the table “WRONG”. The world today,is not Nixons White House, where RN allowed various views to be debated from all ideologies. Does Pat really think is dodges are helping him-or the truth! With him,one must read bewteen the lines. He is the best we are going to get ‘mainstream’,and his connection st that have become threadbare. Only the McLaughlin Group, gives him an airing now(see it on You Tube),and he cowers at the Neoconservatives sometimes. Buchanan still thinks its 30 years ago,and his Republican Party is not TOTALLY overrrun by Jews. Pat-wake up !
