palestinian girls

Sabba – If we are to trust History, the day women start getting more and more involved in any armed struggle for liberation, the day most of them take part in the armed Resistance against the oppressor is when THE battle really starts.

God bless you Palestinian lionesses and may the Force be with you.

  1. I don’t like the use of the term “terror attacks” for any resistance action against Israel. Only the zionist attacks on the native population are terror attacks.

  2. My first thought as well Ariad- These are Freedom Fighters! All Palestinians are called to evict the invader ~ here again, Today, we are reminded of all Wounded Knees/ Geronimo et al who were called terrorists in their own backyard.
i salute the young women of Palestine and all who despise and work to evict the virulent cancer Israhell; i hope Israhell self destructs before harm comes to you…
The term comes from the US State Dept talking points in this USA Today rag, just as those State Dept words are deeply imprinted into all NPR programming ~ easy to spot for instance the use of ‘regime’ instead of ‘government’ referring to Syria.
    Viva Palestine

  3. What do you mean by that, Alan? That the Palestinians have been contaminated by the “fear-hatred-violence” of the thieving, murdering interlopers in their land, instead of serenely offering the other cheek?

  4. Ariadna: who would not be infected by fear-hatred-violence if subjected to fear-hatred-violence? The reaction is biological!
Israel is provoking Palestinians so as to give themselves an excuse to “defend” themselves. Stirring up fish in a bucket with loaded gun at hand.
What we are confronted with here is a massively armed Israel overflowing with fear-hatred-violence gloatingly provoking an essentially unarmed Palestine (the scattered remains thereof) to react. The whole world knowing that Israel will attack genocidally to any Palestinian reaction, does nothing for fear of becoming themselves a target for Israeli-US fear-hatred-violence.
The situation is cruel and – as far as the Palestinians are concerned – lawless.
Are there any Christian nations ready to help Palestine defend itself against Israel’s fear-hatred-violence? Are there actually any Christian nations at all?
The same logic can be applied to Muslim nations. Look at what has already happened to disfavoured Muslim nations.
Are we, in good conscience, to urge Palestine to take on Israel in a war?
    Wherefore art Hope?

  5. I disagree with you, Alan. I don’t think the Palestinians need to be provoked any further by the Occupier of their land in order to engage in acts of resistance. Also, I don’t think that a Palestinian who belongs, by your own description, to “an essentially unarmed Palestine” commits acts of resistance –WHATEVER THEY MAY BE– as a result of being “infected by fear-hatred-violence.” By your logic, submission is in order whenever the aggressor is mightier.
We have no right to urge Palestinians to do anything. Neither do we have a right to judge them or preach to them. We can only support them however we can because JUSTICE and HUMANITY so dictates.

  6. Fair comment Ariadna. A little unfair in assessing my logic. My description of the plight of Palestinians I think is accurate. It is a description almost completely bereft of hope, except for one avenue hinted at in my sentence: “The situation is cruel and – as far as the Palestinians are concerned – lawless.”
By my logic, Palestine taking Israel to the ICC makes far more sense than any other form of resistance. Support in that endeavour makes sense to me. The aim: eventually justice; but to begin with demanding the ICC to do its duty, and if it refuses to do so, a campaign of shame directed at the ICC, and Israel (presuming expert international lawyers have assisted Palestinians in preparing an exhaustive case of Israeli crimes against Palestine going back to the year dot), and any and all nations who support the ICC not doing its duty, or who support Israel’s right to defend itself against Palestinian “terrorism”.
That, Ariadna, is the only conscionable support for Palestinians that my logic can countenance. Armed resistance will be greeted with alacrity and disproportionate genocide by Israel.
    Thanks for engaging in discussion.
    Cheers
