Sabba – So this guy was persecuting jews living in Hungary… Now how about George Soros? Where is the jews’ outrage and condemnation?

Will the jews finally stand up and expose what he did to his own tribesmen in Hungary, at the exact same time?

Hungary has dropped plans to erect a statue honoring Balint Homan, a World War II-era government minister who was behind many of the country’s anti-Jewish laws.

The Hungarian news agency MTI reported Friday that the private Balint Homan Foundation in Szekesfehervar has dropped the plans for the statue, which sought to honor him for his role as a historian and former minister, Reuters reported.

The U.S. special envoy against anti-Semitism, Ira Forman, had called the planned statue “incomprehensible,” while Jewish groups also slammed the move.

“It is quite outrageous that the Hungarian taxpayer should fund a monument for a man who was not only an anti-Semite, a key figure in the persecution of Hungarian Jews before and during World War II, and a supporter of Nazi Germany and the fascist Arrow Cross regime in 1944, but who also remained unrepentant until his death,” World Jewish Congress President Ronald Lauder had said.

Homan served as a minister to several Hungarian governments during the 1930s and 40s, and played a significant role in the drafting of anti-Jewish laws in Hungary in the late 1930s as well as in the deportation of 430,000 Jews to Auschwitz.

  1. And in neighboring Austria Nobel Prize winning scientist Konrad Lorenz (deceased since 1989) has had his honorary doctorate revoked by Salzburg University. Many of the best Germans supported National Socialism, including people like Martin Heidegger, considered by some the leading philosopher of the 20th century. Revoking his degree won’t change his scientific discoveries just as jailing chemist Germar Rudolf whose work at the Max Planck institute exposed the gas chamber claims as lies, won’t change the value of his scientific discovery. These are all arguments in favor of historical revisionism and historians like David Irving.

  2. Peter, I agree with the point of your comment.
With regard to Germar Rudolf, he was asked as a professional chemist to give an expert assessment regarding witness allegations of homicidal gas chambers. His report exposed the allegations as inconsistent with the lack of chemical residues which would have been present if the allegations were true.
My understanding is that he was well advanced in working towards a PhD at the Max Planck Institute, his work there being quite independent of the expert report he provided relating to the gas chamber allegations.
He was dismissed by the Max Planck Institute as an extra-judicial punishment for the honest expert report he had provided. An honest and honourable man was viciously attacked and harmed for being an honest and honourable chemist.
