In the latest act of contempt for Christianity, photos appeared on social media of an IDF soldier putting a cigarette to the mouth of a statue of the Virgin Mary in southern Lebanon.
The photo, KAN News reported, had been uploaded by IDF soldiers to social media and taken in the village of Debel sometime over the last day.
The military told KAN that the incident was ‘under investigation’.
IDF soldier smashes Jesus statue
In April, a soldier operating in the Lebanese Christian village of Debel was photographed smashing a statue of Jesus with a sledgehammer, raising widespread condemnation from Christian groups around the world. The soldier, as well as the soldier who photographed him, were removed from combat duty and sentenced to a mere 30 days in prison.
The IDF attempted to replace the Jesus statue with a more ornate one, but the residents of the village instead replaced it with one identical to the smashed statue.
Holding a cig to the mouth of a statue is hardly an act of terrorism. It’s mockery, sure, or even blasphemy. It’s also juvenile. Smashing the head of a Jesus statue is textbook iconoclasm, more than simple mischief, but I wouldn’t call it terrorism either. It’s destruction of property and is intended to give public offense. I suppose you could call it a hate crime, but that’s playing their game. The early Christians did a lot of that sort of defacing and decapitating thing re pagan statues. No doubt they felt righteous doing so. Civic punishment s/b rendered, but no need to exaggerate the psychological effect of the act.

The terrorist who engaged in this act was a terrorist long before placing that cig in the mouth of the statue. Just by virtue of him being in Lebanon and murdering innocent people makes him the textbook definition of a terrorist.
This fact shouldn’t need a lot of elaborate explanation and quite frankly we here at this humble little informational endeavor are a bit perplexed as to why something this elementary does need any explaining at all, either to you or anyone else.
As far as the rest, the importance of it all also should not need a lot of heavy discussion either, which is that Christians, especially those in America, need to be made aware of the spell that has been cast upon them that has caused them to view the Jews as ‘co-religionists’ of a type if any chance exists of preventing or at least avoiding the apocalyptic end which Israel has planned for us all.
