REUTERS – One in six childhood injuries in Iraq were caused by violence, compared with only one in 50 childhood injuries worldwide, according to a recent study. Iraqi children injured by violence, including by gunshots, shrapnel and explosives, were also more than 10 times more likely than those hurt by other means to be killed or disabled, the authors found.
“Depleted Uranium (DU) weaponry has been used against Iraq for the first time in the history of recent wars. The magnitude of the complications and damage related to the use of such radioactive and toxic weapons on the environment and the human population mostly results from the intended concealment, denial and misleading information released by the Pentagon about the quantities, characteristics and the area’s in Iraq, in which these weapons have been used.” ~ Dr. Souad N. Al-Azzawi
One policy of the Afghan war, according to American planners back in the beginning (That led to the creation of Al Qaeda by Zbigniew Kazimierz Brzezinski), was to break RUSSIA financially by the damage done to its young men in Afghanistan during the Russian siege of that country. Those high medical costs were part of what helped break Russia financially several decades ago.
That same plan using DU was used on the people of Iraq. Women were, and probably still are, nervous to see their newborn and abandonment of these unfortunate children is common. Fallujah is a hell hole of deformities for the few who survived and have been born since that horrific crime.
