Same as the old ‘no moral equivalence, here’ bit. Normal people will be making comparisons and deducing that there’s a spoiled child dominating, so said spoiled child enforces his view that it’s all really Who Does What To Who by whatever means he can get away with. In the case of grief and mourning, they can’t stand the thought someone else could be credited with it…especially at their expense… . And they’ll get away with it if you let them…

As to “They ascribe no value to life.” how about this recently from the most moral army;

He said that during the wars, the Israeli soldier has to maintain his fighting ability; therefore, the prohibitions which weakens his ability must be broken even if they are related to morals.
Interesting this is what is leveled at Muslims but you wont see this on the BBC or written in the Guardian.
