Just imagine the rhetoric if the shoe was on the other foot: jewish fighters against an oppressive Arab state have their homes demolished, regardless of the women and children living there. The hue and cry from organized Jewry across the world would be loud enough to wake the dead.

The basic problem with Israel here: According to Israel a “militant” is anybody who isn’t Jewish and owns property anywhere in Palestine or Jerusalem, the Golan heights etc. You get the idea.
Those houses were marked for destruction as part of the planning of the entire deceptive operation. They were torn down as part of the overall political effect and no amount of pleading will EVER turn these creatures from their designated goal of removal of all Palestinians from their stolen native lands.
