‘In talks with international officials and in the international press, I repeatedly say – the US must join this battle. A nuclear Iran is a threat to the entire world, not just Israel,’ Lapid said.

ed note–once again, as we have pointed out here on this humble little informational endeavor somewhere between a million and a billion times, ‘a Jew is a Jew is a Jew’, irrespective of whether they are ‘left’ or ‘right’, religious or secular, ‘observant’ or ‘non-observant’, because when the ‘call of the wild’ goes out, meaning the trumpet blasts announcing some new slaughter of Gentiles, they forget their superficial differences and unite as one body in order to ‘get-er-done’.

The US must join the battle against Iran, opposition leader MK Yair Lapid said on Wednesday morning at the site of an Iranian rocket hit in Herzliya.

‘I trust President Trump to do what’s right for the US, but in talks with international officials and in the international press I repeatedly say – the US must join this battle. A nuclear Iran is a threat to the entire world, not just Israel,’ Lapid said.

The opposition leader’s comments came a day after he met Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for a security update, and was another example of the opposition’s full support of the attacks against Iran.

Another indicator was that the opposition announced on Wednesday that it would delay a parliamentary session scheduled next week called a ’40 signatories’ debate,’ which the prime minister much attend and during which opposition members usually level harsh criticism at the prime minister and the government.

All legislation not directly related to Iran must be removed from the Knesset agenda

The opposition also came to an agreement with the coalition at the beginning of the week to remove all legislation from the Knesset agenda that was not directly related to the new front against Iran.

In accordance with this agreement, the opposition’s Jewish parties removed a number of no-confidence motions scheduled for Monday.

However, the opposition’s two Arab parties, Hadash-Ta’al and Ra’am, refused to remove their no-confidence measures from the agenda, and suffered criticism from both the coalition and fellow opposition members.
