Imagine the horror of a Palestinian child, stolen from his home in the night, when put into interrogation and handed papers to sign in a language that he cannot understand. And you can imagine those translation costs are prohibitive.

Well, it is hardly good financial management to waste good money on something you are bound to eradicate eventually. The Jews went in stating that by the time they were done there would be nothing left of the original populace and every village would have a Hebrew name so you would never know the Arabs existed in those places.
And you want them to translate street signs?
