ed note–a bit of a twisty-turny with plenty of typically-Judaic verbosity and noise pollution but which gives a vulture’s eye-view into the deranged/detached-from-reality thought processes and informational circulatory-system of the mind thoroughly pickled on the highly-acidic brine of Torah Judah-ism and its inherently-dangerous narcissism.

First off, just in getting the structure of the discussion here ‘level’ and ‘plumb’, CAN WE ALL JUST IMAGINE what the immediate, visceral, and VOLCANIC reaction would be in terms of Jrama, theatrics, screeching, and OUTRAGE on the part of the organized forces of anti-Gentilism if someone of the non-Judaic pedigree (and ESPECIALLY if said non-Judaic were a Christian or Muslim) wrote a piece such as the one below, only instead of it being titled ‘The Righteous Gentile’ it was presented as–

‘The Righteous Jew’…

–and based the criteria/discussion for such a concept completely upon the requirement that said ‘righteous’ Jew recognize the Gentile as the ‘light amongst the nations’ and must devote him/herself to the spiritual and cultural superiority/advancement of said ‘Gentile-ness’?

Mamma mia, Pappa-pia, the noise that would erupt…

However, typical to the times in which we live, where all discussions of importance feature a script and screenplay written, directed, and produced by those of the non-Gentile persuasion, not as much as a hiccup of protest or moral indigestion, despite the obvious hypocrisy that attends it all.

Just as important however, are the particulars of the piece itself, and especially those sections scribed by our deranged follower of Judah-ism where the ‘redemption’ is mentioned.

Redemption…it sounds so, well, NICE, doesn’t it? Peace, love, birdies, butterflies, hugs-n-kisses, etc, etc, etc…

That is, of cours,e until you read the ‘fine print’ of it all, just a small example of which unfolds as follows–

‘The Gentiles and their kings shall come to your light and to the brightness of your ascension…

You shall drink their milk and draw milk from the breasts of their kings…
Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks,
And the sons of the foreigner shall be your plowmen and vinedressers…
As you devour the riches of the Gentiles they shall boast of your greatness and surrender unto you all their gold and incense, and the children of those who persecuted you shall come bowing down to you, while all those who despised you shall fall prostrate at the soles of your feet…
The sons of foreigners shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister to you, as your gates remain open, day and night, so that the wealth of the Gentiles may be placed at your feet while their kings are led in humble procession before you…
For the nation which will not bow down and serve you shall perish, it shall be utterly destroyed…’
–Book of Isaiah

And finally, it is important to keep in mind some very important ‘protocols’ when dissecting/digesting all of this ‘righteous Gentile’ business, one of which is the MULTI-FACETED nature of Torah Judah-ism itself.

The average Gentile who thinks that the followers of Judah-ism are just like everyone else is as much off-the-reservation and ‘checked out’ of the Hotel Reality as sheep thinking that wolves are just like them based upon the very superficial criteria of both being covered with fur and running on 4 legs.

Judah-ism, as its followers like to remind everyone on a regular basis, is not like other ‘faiths’ at all. It is an all-or-nothing/all-consuming paradigm that has no use for western-style philosophies such as ‘to each his own’ and ‘live and let live’.

Furthermore, what needs to be understood is that Judah-ism, as unbending as it is, nevertheless takes on many forms, speaks many languages, and wears many hats, some of them originating with Moses and others originating with Marx.

Therefore, the ‘open-minded’ follower of Judah-ism in America who doesn’t attend Sin-a-Gog, doesn’t dress ‘Orthodox’, doesn’t ‘keep kosher’ and doesn’t (publically at least) refer to Gentiles disparagingly as ‘Goyim’, but who advocates for/advances the destruction of Gentile culture/morals through the promotion of deviancy, is as much a ‘practicing Jew’, indeed, a ‘RIGHTEOUS JEW’, as are his/her cousins in the Jewish State who throw Molotov cocktails into the homes of sleeping Palestinians.

Israel National News

The concept of the ‘Righteous Gentile’ is originally rooted in the Torah’s recognition that members of other nations can serve the G-d of Israel by accepting and faithfully observing the Noahide Commandments. Known as ‘Gerei Toshav’ (resident foreigners) in ancient Israel, Gentiles were honored for renouncing idolatry and giving their support to the Jewish nation.

To determine who can truly be called a Righteous Gentile, one must understand the scriptural basis and historical evolution of the concept and the character of those to whom it traditionally applied.

Given its classical meaning, the term would certainly include Noahides who reject idolatry and embrace the Torah. Their virtue is reflected in their recognition of the Jews as the ‘light unto the nations’ and their passionate belief in Jewish spiritual and national integrity. Many of today’s B’nai Noach are outspoken in their support for Israel and opposition to the growing evangelical threat against Israeli and Diaspora Jewry.

During and after the Second World War, the title ‘righteous among the nations’ was conferred upon those who saved Jews from the Nazis and their collaborators. It was not based on religious belief but on their commitment to saving Jews from extermination. Raoul Wallenburg and Oskar Schindler were among those who acted at great personal risk – and without ulterior motive – to rise above a common European culture steeped in ancestral antisemitism.

But did simply saving Jews physically constitute a righteous act? If this were the only criterion, those who saved Jews for impure reasons would be honored as righteous. This was certainly a concern with respect to Jewish children who were taken in by convents, monasteries, and churches, baptized and then effectively kidnapped after the war pursuant to a 1946 Vatican directive, and therefore the complicity of priests, nuns, and laypeople excludes them from honorable recognition. They may have saved Jewish children from the gas chambers, but they crippled them spiritually.

Those who are obsessed with redefining the Righteous Gentile as a political exemplar devoid of traditional meaning or historical context would do well to discover and embrace the Righteous Jew first. It takes one to recognize the other.

If the concept of the Righteous Gentile was originally based on the premise that non-Jews have a place in the world to come, then it is inextricably linked to the belief in messianic redemption, and therefore the concept of the Righteous Gentile – whether defined by adherence to the Noahide laws or commitment to preserving Jewish life – is connected to the Jews’ yearning for the messianic age. Indeed, this was prophesied in Zechariah, 8:23 after the return from Babylon more than 2,500 years ago, when he wrote: ‘Thus said the Lord of Hosts: In those days, ten men from nations of every tongue will take hold—they will take hold of every Jew by a corner of his cloak and say, ‘Let us go with you, for we have heard that G-d is with you.’
