Officers of the Oz Police Station in the Jerusalem District arrested two Israeli teenagers, residents of the Pisgat Ze’ev neighborhood in northern Jerusalem, who were walking around the Arnona neighborhood, in the south of the city, while wearing masks and carrying Molotov cocktails.
The incident occurred last week while the officers were conducting an operational mission in the area. The officers noticed the two suspects, who discarded a bag in nearby bushes when they saw the police car.
Quickly searching the spot, the officers found the bag and two Molotov cocktails. The two suspects were arrested and taken for questioning at the Oz Police Station.
The suspects were later released and a prosecutor’s letter of intent was submitted in preparation for filing of a possible indictment.
