Sabba – This film critic is so great that after reading his review, he provides us with all the reasons in the world to go and watch Mel Gibson’s new movie!
HAARETZ – Circumstances prevented me from seeing and writing a review of “Hacksaw Ridge,” Mel Gibson’s fifth foray into directing, which has been playing in Israeli cinemas for the past three months. Even if this is indicative of a lack of professionalism on my part, perhaps I am using the word “circumstances” as an excuse in order to say that I have an aversion to Gibson’s films – even if more than 10 years have elapsed since that ugly incident in the summer of 2006 when he was arrested for DUI.
I will be watching my usual fare on Sunday evening, The Walking Dead. No interest in the awards.
The comment about Mel’s lost innocence in his delivery brought about a simple response. “If you folks had not gotten your panties in such knots over his excellent historical work, let alone gone a tad easier on the PC attacks, perhaps he would not have had to take so defensive an edge.”
However this writer really just writes with spite in his heart and soul. But hey, that is what these Talmudics are …. spiteful and unforgiving.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
If you can make millions of dollars for the jews, they’ll forgive your past “anti-Semitic” shortcomings.
There is a sign I saw this morning and looked up. It is apparently the current sign for “White nationalism” or somesuch thing. Liberals are going mad because two or three men now in the White House have also made this sign … very blatantly. It cannot be missed as, with the devil horns, it must be formed consciously. In one photo at the Oscars, Mel can be seen making this sign very obviously with each hand holding them up in front of him. I am to actually watch his latest movie; the concept is wonderful.
