University to probe how display touting Israeli culture and customs was set up at Islamabad university.

Several students at a Pakistani university are in hot water after erecting a stand that promotes Israeli culture, according to the News Tribe, a U.K.-based site covering news from Pakistan, the U.S. and Middle East.

The pro-Israel stall was set up in a hall of the Faisal Mosque at the International Islamic University Islamabad in Pakistan.

It included a photo montage of “Israel Culture & Customs” featuring images of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Israeli flags, ultra-Orthodox Jews, kippot, a shofar, the Al-Aqsa Mosque and an Intel plant, among other things. It also read “Welcome to the Land of Peace & Prosperity.”

The university has formed a three-member committee to probe how the stall came to be.

The pro-Israel stall was removed after religious groups, other students and political organizations caught wind of it and threatened to protest, the News Tribe reported.

According to the report, opponents of the stand said it was tantamount to pouring salt on the Palestinians’ wounds.

  1. Why don’t they send them to Gaza where the demons walking on two legs bombard those places on a regular basis. Those pro-Jews need to taste a sup of their own recipe.
