This law is only another step forward towards the total judaization of the Christian world, it is another step towards making the Christian world totally judaism-compatible. Until just recently, the Vatican City allowed sex at twelve, as long as the 12 year old girl was married. They have now raised that legal minimum age for sex with girls who are married to just 14 years of age.

Reading the Wikipedia article again, it is somewhat ambiguous, as the Vatican itself states that the girl must have COMPLETED her 14th year of age to get married and have sex within marriage, so I think it will be that the case that the Vatican law is stipulating that the girl must be within her fifteenth year of age, ie, over 14, but not yet 15, to get married and have sex within marriage.
Anyway, the Vatican itself is still well dodgy on that issue as well, though Catholics in other countries will of course have to live according to the law of the land in which they live, so that a Catholic girl of 16 may marry and have sex in England, and in other countries that will vary.
Pedophilia is defined as having sexual attraction for children before the age of puberty, so only if a girl is has not yet entered puberty would that then constitute such an offence, though I am sure that we would see a lot wrong in someone who has entered puberty, yet who is still of a very young age, being allowed to enter marriage when their mental, emotional and physical faculties have not yet reached true maturity.
These days, girls as young as 8 are regularly entering puberty, whereas the average age of puberty for girls in Victorian England was a surprising seventeen and a half years of age, so to marry a girl just because she has technically reached puberty can never be right, especially as puberty is now increasingly occurring at younger and younger ages, though the custom of child brides is still practiced in some parts of the world, like Somalia, where child brides are common, in spite of increasing protests against the archaic practice, and many parts of India and Africa both allowed that until recent years due to different social customs and traditions there, and even countries like Spain allowed extremely young girls to enter marriage at 14, until very recent legislation.
