The stamp is to honor world-renowned boxing champion Muhammad Ali. The stamp was unveiled during a ceremony at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville Monday.
It features the work of world-renowned calligrapher Mohamed Zakariya.
The phrased used on the stamp translates to “May your Eid be blessed.”
“Today is a day of celebration because what the USPS is doing is they’re giving us an opportunity to educated the world about Islam – that Islam is a religion of peace,” Donald Lassere, President and CEO of the Muhammad Ali Center said.
