Putin says Turkey shot down Russian plane to defend IS oil supplies

I don’t know what to make of this. 1. Is this ALL he said about the downing of the plane, that it was about the oil convoys and implicitly all Erdogan’s doing? Or is it how Reuters spins it?
2. If this is true then Putin may be again applying his judo tactic of using his opponent energy thrust to foil him, because clearly USrael is done with Erdogan and want him removed so they are hanging him out to dry. Did Putin get something in exchange for helping them for all practical purposes and dropping any mention of Erdogan being unable to do this without active support and preplanning from the US?
