INVESTMENT WATCH BLOG – Brave Vladimir Putin told a delegation from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church that if Turkey does not stop funding and supporting ISIS in Syria, he will ‘bring Christianity back to Istanbul.’
‘Should Turkey not stop supporting ISIS, I will end the job that Tsar Nicholas II started.’
It is understood that Putin was referring to Tsar Nicholas II’s attempt during World War I to restore Constantinople (Istanbul) to the Christian world and protect Russian maritime security by liberating the Dardanelles and Bosphorus straits.
Synchronicity is a wonderful thing. Less than a week ago, I was watching (youtube) Sheik Hosein give a lecture/discussion on the middle east and he said that one of the Koranic prophecies is that Christianity/Russia will retake Constantinople.
This is one of the conditions for return of the Messiah/Mahdi.
The Son of Mary, the Messiah (PBUT) and the Mahdi are 2 very distinct figures.
I am going to simplify a lot here but here is what Islamic Eschatology tells us: the jews will destroy America and israel will become the world super power, after the ‘Great War and so Pax judaica will replace Pax Americana.
The Islamic Resistance will nonetheless continue until a man, whose title will be the ‘Mahdi’ (that is not his name) will end up leading the resistance.
The Mahdi and his men (who will no doubt be labelled as savage muslim terrorists who want to impose sharia law upon the world, something which the vast majority of the world will of course believe) will continue to fight the JWO and their fight will continue unabated until the return of the Son of Mary, in Damascus.
Jesus (PBUH) will then become the leader of the Christlamic Resistance and he will kill the anti-Christ at the Gate of Lodd (sometimes spelt Ludd).
So Islamic eschatology speaks about the the Return of the Son of Mary, the one and only Messiah (PBUH) and the emergence of the Mahdi.
It is not the Quran but the hadiths which emphatically speak about the conquest of Constantinople at the end of the ‘Great War’ and it will be a Muslim army which will liberate it.
Christian Orthodox eschatology also speaks of the conquest of Constantinople at the end of history but their texts mention a Christian conquest of the city of Constantine.
The Last Prophet of God (PBUH) prophecized an alliance between the world of true Islam and the world of true Christianity (the Orthodox Christian world) who will combine forces, defeat the forces of Darkness lead by the anti-Christ.
What Sheikh Imran was saying, and we really have to applaud him for that, is that once the Muslims liberate Constantinople, they will give Hagia Sophia back to the Orthodox Christians.
And not only that, but they will issue an apology for the crimes committed towards them by the Ottomans, whom Sheikh Imran refers to as the soldiers of the anti-Christ.
All true Muslims of the world, i.e. Muslims by faith and conviction and not muslims by ‘culture’ or name, all true Muslims do stand by Christian Russia.
A good sound byte, but maybe too good, as I can’t find anything on the official TASS news site.
Putin is too clever to go around making boasts and threats.
