Authorities are investigating a sick picture sent to a Rockland County legislator that superimposed his face over a victim of an ISIS beheading.

Spring Valley Democrat Aron Wieder, an Orthodox Jew, got the twisted missive Monday, according to the Anti-Defamation League.

The picture of his face over the shocking image of an ISIS captive on the verge of execution came in an envelope postmarked from upstate Monsey, The Journal News reported.

“I literally had shivers running down my spine,” Wieder said, according to the newspaper. He took the picture to the Rockland County Sheriff’s Department.

Federal agents are also investigating, said the ADL.

“This was a threatening and hateful act designed to intimidate a Jewish elected official,” said ADL director Evan Bernstein.

  1. HAHAHAHAHA. It will interesting to see what the postmark is. Maybe it’s from another joo synagogue in Brooklyn trying to scare more jooz into their synagogue (and their checkbooks, too).

Jeez. Can not these false-flaggers get a little more creative? Just askin’ ….

  2. Personally, I am not surprised that more of these politicians, Jew or otherwise, are not receiving threats like this.

  3. If he had “shivers running down [his]spine” then Wieder is profoundly retarded. Even the least informed Jew living an isolated life in Birobidjan knows that ISIS is Israel’s mercenary army and would have laughed at this. “What, me, be afraid of the ISIS? Go eat a kosher dill, dummy!”

  4. Good point, ariadnatheo. His “shivers” were likely excitment over being chosen to be a poster boy.
