ed note–I’d say the entire thing was an egg-on-Israel’s-face operation. The Russians more than likely floated the story to the Israelis that they were ready to engage with ISIS, let the Israelis run with the story and then came forward and denied it, making Israel look like an unreliable source of information.

The Russians are a lot smarter than some people in this ‘movement’ give them credit for being, which is why the rest of the thinkers in this movement should turn a deaf ear to those ‘experts’ who claim that Putin & co are really just ‘going along’ with things as ‘part of the plan’.

    That destruction compares to what Christian fanatics did,by burning down the great library of Alexandria in the First Century .
