Its so sad to read this. Mafia vs. NYPD here we go again. As if this country is not bloodied enough.
Another excuse to start shooting up people. We don’t have police protection, they kill with no mercy. ‘Serve and protect’ is all BS now. Thanks to Giuliani and Bloomberg. NYC is also a gun free zone, but people do own guns and shoot quite well. I was born and raised in this country (NYC) and after so many years, I am being questioned about my citizenship or where I am from. I guess my ethnicity gives it away. Things are getting very smoky. I will not give into fear. We all have a life to live.
They did that in wwii and called it protection money for the docks along the west side piers in NYC.It was extortion,protection from the mafia.
