In June 2016, Maj. Gen. “In 2006 war Hizbullah fired 160 rockets per day at the northern region, we expect to receive 1,200 rockets per day in a new war with Hizbullah – it will be a completely different scenario from anything we have known,” he said.
“We will need mental fortitude more than physical protection,” added Gershon who now commands the IOF’s reservist northern region emergency division.
