Candidate pledges to make efforts toward Israeli-Palestinian peace if elected; says he likes idea of moving embassy to Jerusalem

ed note–now, before we are inundated with all the typical braying from all the usual suspects who seize upon the slightest thing that seems to conform to their theories concerning x, y, and z, remember this is the nature of politics. People seeking office–especially this particular one–say all sorts of things when the mics and cameras are on, but then once they are turned off, reality becomes a different issue altogether, and anyone needing further validation of this fact need look no further than in the person of JFK, who engaged in all sorts of pandering to organized Jewish interests during that process leading up to his election, and then once in the driver’s seat, moved against them, resulting in his assassination.

More than likely, Trump is there not to destroy Israel, but to rein her in. As we have discussed on this website many times, things are heating up to dangerous levels and if some type of emergency action is not taken, it could mean not only the destruction of Israel, but of the entire world, and the smarter elements know this. Under a Trump presidency, more than likely what is envisioned is Israel being forced to go back to the 1967 lines or lose military and financial aid from the US.

This of course–being forced to retreat–is exactly the kind of thing that would set Netanyahu off like a 100 kiloton nuke. Besides the obvious humiliation, it is also considered anathema to those Jews who believe in all that ‘Nile to the Euphrates’ business as described many times in their Torah.

However,  the next thing to go ‘boom’ in America, obviously done in the interests of repeating 9/11 and its galvanizing the American people in Israel’s favor, is not likely to have the same effect. The military/intelligence apparati who ‘went along’ with the narrative after 9/11 are not likely to do it again. What this means is that when these elements do indeed come forward and tell the American people and the world that it was not ‘MOOZLUMS’ who nuked an American city but rather Jews, the fury on the part of the American people towards the Jewish state will make what the Romans did to Jerusalem in 70 AD look like a picnic, and despite whatever platitudes Trump may offer now during election season, in the face of insurmountable and uncontainable rage on the part of 300 million Americans, he will have no choice but to repeat what Titus did in leveling Jerusalem, leaving ‘not one stone upon another’, just as Jesus Christ Himself predicted would happen shortly before being murdered by the Jews for his heresy and blasphemy.

Times of Israel

Republican front-runner Donald Trump called himself Israel’s biggest friend this week, saying his ties to the Jewish state are stronger than those of any other presidential candidate.

Speaking to the Sheldon Adelson-controlled Israel Hayom newspaper, Trump cited his daughter’s marriage to Jared Kushner, who is Jewish. And he added that he, himself, had participated in various pro-Israel rallies.

The interview was only published in a Hebrew translation, thus no direct quotes in English were available.

Trump told the paper, which is strongly supportive of Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, that he wanted to work to achieve Israeli-Palestinian peace. Though he didn’t know if this was possible, he said he would make efforts to resolve the conflict if elected.

He also blasted the Iran nuclear deal, as he has in the past, calling it the worst possible accord for Israel.

Asked for his position on moving the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem — as was promised in the past by many presidential candidates — Trump said he liked the idea.

Last Wednesday, Trump vowed to give Mideast peace “one hell of a shot” and called it “probably the toughest agreement of any kind to make.”

During a town hall event hosted by MSNBC in Charleston, South Carolina, Trump tried to show neutrality.

“You know, I don’t want to get into it, because… if I win, I don’t want to be in a position where I’m saying to you and the other side now says, ‘We don’t want Trump involved,’” he said.

“Let me be sort of a neutral guy,” he continued. “A lot of people have gone down in flames trying to make that deal. So I don’t want to say whose fault is it. I don’t think it helps.”

The Grand Old Party is under intense pressure to derail the Trump train.

By turns boastful, mocking or menacing, Trump has hit on a style that has seduced a growing and increasingly diverse share of Republican voters — to the dismay of his rivals, who have struggled to find an effective angle of attack against the 69-year-old real estate mogul.

White House hopefuls Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio unleashed a barrage of attacks against Trump during Thursday’s raucous Republican debate as they sought to halt the billionaire front-runner’s seemingly relentless march to the party’s nomination.

The three candidates exchanged some of the most-heated and acerbic remarks of the entire 2016 primary cycle. They often talked over one another as they battled for supremacy in the final on-stage showdown before the “Super Tuesday” series of statewide votes on March 1.

Cruz and Rubio mounted a furious assault against Trump, blasting the front-runner for hiring foreigners and challenging his commitment to conservative principles, but Trump largely stood his ground and swatted away the attacks.

Knowing that they need to change the campaign trail narrative quickly — or risk Trump coasting to the Republican nomination — the two freshman senators launched broadsides against the brash billionaire, who lashed out at his challengers in what quickly devolved into a shouting match.

The tone reflected the fierce battle under way ahead of “Super Tuesday” next week, when 12 states — including Cruz’s huge state of Texas — go to the polls in perhaps the most consequential voting day of the 2016 primary campaign.

Should Trump win most of the states, it could be lights out for his rivals, who also include two lesser candidates in retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson and Ohio Governor John Kasich.

  1. Once again the editorial has much more relevant content than the article itself! I watched my first debate last night and, to be honest, Trump is by far the superior man, such as that might be. I was not dismayed by his attempts to prove himself more Jewish than the rest simply because, by now, we know that truly is just part of the game and you have to really know this campaign to understand what he is doing.
Never having watched the other candidates much it was interesting. Carson is…a waffler and would be totally ineffective. How he reached that pinnacle I have no idea but …. he is gone. Cruz and Rubio just make one want to cringe, spineless shells full of corruption… Rubio is downright scary in his Israel stance!
Love him or loathe him, Trump was actually the only one on the stage with any substance….
I wonder if his lovely wife has chosen her Inaugural gowns yet….

  2. BTW I am beginning to see these debates with a little of the same sarcasm I see towards the endless award shows we see.
Both formats are GREAT revenue generators because HUGE names are clustered in one place free of cost, no fees, nothing (and lookin’ pretty as can be)…. drawing humongous audiences who all are forced to endure advertisements and other such things throughout the event.
It would be interesting to see how much revenue is generated through advertising on these debates as opposed to the regular time slot revenue.

  3. I like your thinking. I would be great if you’re right. But I would compare American fury if the Jews did such a thing to history a little more recent. In Riga, Lemberg and cities all across eastern Europe, people from completely different cultures, languages and countries took revenge on the mass murdering Jews who led Bolshevik rule and tyranny across Europe. German officers, seeing the rage when they first entered a city requested advice from HQ on what to do and the response was not to intervene. People were taking revenge on the Jews for what they had done to millions. Unfortunately the Jewish led NKVD had usually already fled.

  4. Once again Mark gives us superb insight on what Trump is probably doing viz a’ viz IsraHel. I agree 100%. As evidence of how the Tribe gets more and more frantic, watch how they pull out all the stops between now and the convention to smear, slander and libel Trump. We ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
