From Yeshivaworld

Since fleeing Holland there has been a cloud of mystery as to the whereabouts of Rabbi Eliezer Berland, who continues efforts to avoid extrication to Israel. However the leader of the Shuvu Banim tzibur has issued a call to his talmidim to join him, once again in South Africa. The notice promises an exact address and telephone number will follow to permit chassidim to arrange visitation. The notice was released hours before Rosh Hashanah. Facebook has been used to get the word out to the followers of the rav.

According to a MyNet report, the Rabbi released photos of Rosh Hashanah and his current location, apparently no longer interested in staying under the radar. The rav fled Israel to avoid arrest originally about 2.5 years ago and has been moving from county to country since that time. He was supposed to be extradited from Holland to Israel after losing his case and the subsequent appeal, and it was then that he managed to flee to avoid being turned over to Israeli authorities.

Since fleeing Israel the Rabbi has been in the USA, Switzerland, Morocco, Zimbabwe, S. Africa and Holland.
