  1. What chance is there for ordinary people to make sense of their lives as citizens of the most powerful nation ever in the history of nations, when ordinary reality has become extremely weird for ordinary people? Weird is ordinary. There was an extraordinary example of ordinary weirdness in your Press TV interview when you referred to someone nick-named “Fighting Joe” who has just been elevated to the top position in the US military who is known to be “very very vigorous in the application of his duties”. His duties – it seems – mainly involve organizing the destruction of other nations who are (1) no match for US military power; and (2) no threat to the nation or ordinary people of the USA.
What sense can ordinary American people make of such a weird reality? How are they to understand the “duties” of their military chief of staff? Are those “duties” in any ordinary sense honourable? Are those “duties” in any ordinary sense respectable? Are those “duties” in any ordinary sense acceptable? Are those “duties” in any ordinary sense American?
Extreme dishonour has become ordinary for ordinary Westerners – let’s generalize; this is not just a problem for Americans.
Zero worthiness of respect has become respectable for ordinary Westerners.
Zero acceptability has become acceptable for ordinary Westerners.
That is not ordinary! That is denial of reality on a mass scale.
The explanation of such weirdness is simple enough. For ordinary people to deny reality on such important issues on such a scale, they/we must be deeply afraid of the reality they/we live in.
The reality ordinary Westerners live in is profoundly corrupt. Profoundly!
Think: the 9/11 Commission. That’s recent – only 10 years or so ago.
Think: the Warren Commission. That’s more than 50 years ago.
Think: the passing of the legislation setting up the Federal Reserve system. That’s more than 100 years ago.
We were all born into profoundly corrupt societies. We have never experienced life without corruption.
If ordinary people had a mission – one can dream, can’t one? – what would be the most important aims we would have to set our sights on?
What would ordinary people have to achieve so that their children will be born into a nation worthy of acceptance, worthy of respect, worthy of honour?

  2. I watch the comments on yahoo. news and see a larger degree of awareness among Americans about the deceit involved in packaging AlQaida, ISS, and all other mercenary offspring of USrael. Who can still believe that, as Mark said in this interview, the military power that flattened Iraq in a month and Libya in a few weeks cannot make short shrift of “ISIS”? I guess the answer is those who bought the myth of the 19 Boys with Boxcutters and did not return it requesting a refund. Those who buy the spiel that the intrinsically criminal state of Israel, committing crimes against humanity for the past almost 7 decades, is only guilty of occasional “excesses.” Those who believe that the “Left” and the “Right” of Jewish power and its servants are anything but two hands working together to destroy everything that stands in the path of Jewish supremacy.
