To paraphrase, I will never meet anyone who looses money by underestimating the intelligence of the people at The Ugly Truth.The U.S. did not veto the resolution because it did not receive the sufficient votes to require a veto. Color me unsurprised. What will be interesting is how Abbas follows through on his promise.

The USA made sure to get nine votes so that the USA would not have to veto the measure.
