In an H.P. Lovecraft landscape, Israel would nestle in just perfectly. Or the world where the puppet IS the ventriloquist and perched upon it’s knee is the tattered and soulless remnant of a global community that no longer has the wherewithal to effectively put up any measureable resistance.
