Archbishop Chacour in occupied Palestine talks and lives the teachings of Jesus. He preaches love, and includes the Jews, even the settlers squatting, armed to their teeth, on stolen Palestinian land in this love (“because they know not what they do”?).
He thinks the Jews can be won over by love and made to change their behavior. If he is really a powerful influence in what is left of the Palestinian Christians then I wish that more of them converted to Islam or became agnostics. From what I understand of Islam it does not urge the Muslims to turn the other cheeks until they have no cheeks left. Also, I guess I am incapable of pure faith that gives unflinching hope in the teeth of contrary evidence.
Jews cannot be “won over.”
When will these “Christians” learn ?

We will have won when we see jews start to denying that they ARE jews. When they no long can hold their noses high in false pride, we will then know that we have won – but not till then
