UNZ – In confrontations over Syria and North Korea, Mr Trump’s belligerent rhetoric has been followed by more carefully calculated action.

His opening stance is normally bombastic and uncompromising in order to intimidate the other side into making concessions. It does not necessarily have to be taken at face value. But this periodic moderation may not come into play in the case of Iran, towards which he has been uncompromisingly hostile, claiming that it is the hidden power behind “terrorist” activity in the Middle East.   1. as usual, i don’t buy such notions because they militate against the bigger picture, viz, that trump is truly in league with putin as the jew enemies charge and in fact (slightly bigger frame), trump is at war with jews, which necessitates linking up with putin and others in a common front.
    and this front includes iran as an essential element, almost a linchpin.
    trump talked shit against n korea (“li’l rocket man”) and syria (“animal assad”) and look at the end result, so i don’t expect any change in this trend all of a sudden – it would make absolutely no sense than setting JEW up for another setback, another counterpunch, another pull from the rug underneath.
